Hello.
So...another fashion blog. Great. I know I'm a little late to the game, but as an avid consumer of all things blog, especially of the sartorial variety, I have noticed a dearth of style blogs that actually try to translate the art of fashion to the mundanity of the working world. While it's all good and well to have the editorial inspirations of "everyday" people (believe me, I love them as much as the next girl), the large majority of these style mavens don't seem to live in the everyday, or at least their web-incarnations don't. They do not trudge to work under the pall of "appropriateness." They do not have to sacrifice personality and creativity for job security. They do not have to worry about whether they really should have bought those crazy bondage leather harem pants even if it was at a sample sale and even if they were 90% off because where in the hell am I ever going to wear those?!
So. I guess this is just a very minor (*note* minor) attempt at giving some aesthetic solidarity to the oft-neglected people (my people) who have annoying soul-sucking uber-professional jobs but who still love fashion and want, nay need, to incorporate it into their daily lives. Blurgh. A blog was born.
